How to use the ELAN Brow Gel Tint System
Light skin tint: 3-5 minutes
Medium skin tint: 5-8 minutes
Heavy skin tint: 8-10 minutes
NB! When tinting, the gel will quickly oxidize to a grayish color – this is normal. The final result will be a beautiful neutral shade.
STEPS FOR EYEBROW TINTING
1. Preparing for eyebrow tinting
Cleanse eyebrows and skin with ELAN Detox Mousse. Remove the mousse with a cotton pad moistened with water.
2. Shaping the eyebrows
Shape the eyebrows into the desired shape using suitable tools or devices.
3. Preparing the tint mixture
Mix Brow Gel Tint and ÉLAN 1% Oxidant in a non-metallic container in a 1:1 ratio.
Note: The amount of hydrogen does not affect the intensity of the color.
The color of the open shade may vary from light brown to black when exposed to air – this is normal and does not affect the tinting result.
4. Eyebrow tinting
Apply the shade to the shaped eyebrows.
Exposure time: 5-15 minutes (depending on the desired result).
After the exposure time, remove the shade with water or a cotton pad moistened with Detox Mousse.
Tip: If the shade exceeds the desired shape, remove it immediately with a cotton swab moistened with water or with the special tint remover Skin Color CREAM REMOVER to prevent the color from sticking to the skin.
5. Finishing eyebrow tinting
Fix the result by applying ELAN Color Fix color fixing liquid to the eyebrows.
Precautions
Perform an allergy test 48 hours before use: Mix 2 drops of the shade and hydrogen and apply the mixture to a small area of skin on the inside of the hand. If redness, swelling or irritation occurs, do not use the product.
Do not use tint if you have:
A rash on your face or sensitive, irritated or damaged skin.
A reaction to hair dyes or temporary “black henna” tattoos.
Use protective gloves and avoid using metal objects during the tinting process.
Do not use to color eyelashes!
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
